Luxurious can be not only yachts, cars and airplanes, but also submarines . This was confirmed by a submarine called Neyk, developed by Ocean Submarine from the Netherlands.
Works on its creation lasted eight years together with the leading figures of the world engineering thought, including Rolls-Royce, MTU (the manufacturer of diesel engines) and Bosch. As a result, a magnificent streamlined teardrop-shaped underwater ship with a length of 19 meters and a weight of 100 tons was obtained. The submarine has a modular design, developed in conjunction with NASA.
It can dive to a depth of 150 meters and develop a speed of up to 28 km / h using two 100-kilowatt electric motors powered by on-board batteries or from the “above-water” diesel generator Rolls-Royce 4000 U83. Thanks to the rotation system, the engines can provide a steep turn of the boat 180 degrees in a matter of seconds.
The spacious passenger cabin is equipped with six huge portholes, leather seats with seat belts, large tables, a retractable flat screen television, a library and even (at the request of the customer) a diving lock. The submarine is managed by the crew of the first and second pilot. The metal bow of the boat can also be replaced by an acrylic dome at the request of the customer. The cost of the boat is still unknown.
