It might happen that there is an error or some holdup in your internet connectivity or speed. If this is the reason then it might be the reason of Netflix error NW-3-6.

How to Resolve Netflix Error Code NW-3-6?

There are the following methods that you can try to fix Netflix error code NW-3-6.

1. Start Over Your Device

  • The first solution that you can try to solve the error is to restart your device. All you need to do is shut down your device and restart it after sometime.
  • After that, you need to try to log in to your Netflix account.
  •  Then, start streaming to check whether the issue is fixed or not.

2. Check Your Internet Connection

To check your internet connection, you can make use of two methods.

a) Start Again Your Router/Modem

  • To do this, you need to press the power button on your router and shut down it.
  • After 10 to 15 seconds, again press it to switch on.
  • Then, again start your device and check if Netflix is working appropriately or not.

b) Make Use Of a Wired Connection

  • It means you need to use a cable that links your Wi-Fi modem to your device.
  • Before you opt for this solution, do not forget to turn off your streaming device.
  • Also, turn on the modem first and then wait for a few seconds to see whether or not it establishes a connection before turning on your device.

3. Disconnect Your VPN

  • Are you using a virtual private network? If yes, try to turn it off. It might happen that your VPN is preventing Netflix from seeing your region.
  • It could ultimately trigger geofencing according to regional content restrictions.

For PlayStation

  • To re-configure PlayStation, you need to first visit settings.

  • For IP settings, now select Automatic.
  • After that, tap on -> “Do Not Set for DHCP hostname”.
  • Set DNS settings to Automatic.
  • Now, set MTU as Automatic.
  • For Proxy Server, you need to choose the Do Not Use option.
  • Save all necessary changes and choose Test Connection
  • In the final step, start over your console and try to watch Netflix again.

For Xbox

For Xbox, follow the below steps.

  • Start your Xbox device
  • After that, go to settings -> System settings.
  • Now, choose Network -> choose Configure Network.
  • After that, check DNS settings & choose Automatic.
  • Now, pause for a few seconds, and after that, resume your Xbox device and try to stream Netflix again. It might fix the issue.
